FFAF indépendant?

Dans le Kerrang de cette semaine FFAF aurait annoncé qu'ils souhaiteraient comme d'autres groupes l'ont déjà fait etre indépendant de leur maison de disc Atlantic records !! Créer leur propre label... refaire un EP pour début 2008 suivi d'un album en été ....

" We've been sitting on this for a little while now but really wanted to wait for the right time to let everyone know where we were heading.

we have nothing but great things to say about Atlantic Records. No major label horror stories and no bitter parting of ways. We had a lot of great people working with us at Atlantic and will always be grateful for the what they've done for us. It just seemed right for us to go it alone at this point in our lives and careers, and it's definitely not a decision we've taken lightly.

What this basically means now is that we, Funeral for a Friend, have complete control over what we do as a band and nobody to answer to but the five of us. Just like it was at the start, really. We're actually doing things now in a similar way to how we were back in 2002 as far as writing etc. No fancy studios. No big rehearsal rooms. Just us in the kitchen knocking down ideas over a cuppa!

So, after 4 years it really like it was the right time to write and release our 3rd EP proper, after 'Between Order and Model' and '4 Ways to Scream your Name'. Both those releases represented very important points in our musical career and I'm sure this next one will do the same.

Radiohead a lancé une nouvelle mode!

Sauf que Radiohead ont misé sur le tout numérique apparemment!! FFAF compte enregister un vrai album et rechercher ensuite des distributeurs dans différents pays!!!
Ce sont eux qui vont devoir tout dealer par contre ... est ce que cet album sera meilleur que le précédent pour autant!!?

je sais pas s'il faut etre content ou avoir peur ...

Ca dépend de quelle direction musicale ils pensent prendre. Après si ça reste dans la continuité de Tales alors ça me déplairait pas mais un petit retour au source serait énorme.

Ben on leur a demandé lol pour l'instant ils pensent pas trop à une direction musicale plutot qu'une autre!! Ils écrivent et voient ce que ca donne sans trop réfléchir apparemment !! Ils ont l'air confiant! mais bon nous on est plutot méfiant !!

en principe enfin je peux me tromper mais qd l'album plus accessible sort le prochain est souvent un retour aux sources mais ça je peux me tromper
mais en ce qui concerne le système d'autogestion je trouve ça bien voilà

Qu'ils fassent un EP qui suit Tales je suis okay mais je suis loin de cracher sur un nouveau truc qui nous retourne bien,pas spécialement un retour aux sources mais un truc qui changent de ce qu'ils ont fait avant!

'fin de toutes les façons quoiqu'ils fassent je pense apprécier tout ça!
